Parklane Academy Pioneers (McComb, MS) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Adams County Christian Rebels (Natchez, MS), 42-13 in a league battle.

With the win, Parklane Academy advances its record to 6-2 on the season. The Pioneers travel to Oak Forest Academy (Amite, LA) to play the Yellowjackets in a MAIS 5A District 3 battle on Friday, October 11. The Yellowjackets go into the battle with a record of 3-3. Oak Forest Academy lost 56-6 in their recent non-league battle against Hartfield Academy (Flowood, MS)

The Rebels now own a 4-3 record. They play next when they host Amite School Center for a non-league battle on Friday, October 11. Adams County Christian will play a Rebels team coming off a 36-13 league loss to Bowling Green (Franklinton, LA). The Rebels record now stands at 0-7.
