Arizona High School Football - Ironwood tops Agua Fria

October 4, 2024: Glendale, AZ 85304

The Ironwood Eagles football squad scored 42 points and limited the visiting Agua Fria Owls to 26 in the Eagles league triumph on Friday.

The Eagles now sport a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Goldwater for a 5A Northwest Valley test on Friday, October 18. Ironwood will meet a Bulldogs squad coming off a 43-37 league win over Apollo (Glendale, AZ). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-2.

With the defeat, Agua Fria drops to 3-3 on the campaign. The Owls host Willow Canyon (Surprise, AZ) to meet the Wildcats in a 5A Northwest Valley test on Friday, October 11. The Wildcats come into the test with a record of 2-4. Willow Canyon lost 44-0 in their recent non-league test against Valley Vista (Surprise, AZ)
