The Eddyville Eagles football squad scored 63 points and limited the visiting Alsea Wolverines to 26 in the Eagles league triumph on Friday.

The Eagles now hold a 5-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Triangle Lake for a 1A Special District 2 - North (6 Man) test on Friday, October 11. Eddyville will meet a Lakers squad coming off a 40-12 league win over Falls City (Falls City, OR). The Lakers record now stands at 3-1.

With the defeat, Alsea drops to 2-2 on the campaign. The Wolverines host Lewis Academy (Newberg, OR) to meet the Watchmen in a 1A Special District 2 - North (6 Man) test on Thursday, October 10. The Watchmen come into the test with a record of 1-3. Lewis Academy lost 39-29 in their recent non-league test against Days Creek (Days Creek, OR)
