The Warriors (2-4) will now prepare for their contest against Akron-Westfield (Akron, IA). The Westerners enter the A District 1 contest with a 0-6 record. In their last contest, Akron-Westfield was outscored by Marcus-Meriden-Cleghorn/Remsen-Union (Marcus, IA), 14-7, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Spartans confront the Kingsley-Pierson Panthers (Kingsley, IA) in a A District 8 contest, on Friday, October 11. West Monona will attempt to better on its 0-6 season record. The Panthers enter the contest with a 3-3 record after their 48-22 league loss to Woodbury Central (Moville, IA).
