Nebraska High School Football - Hershey tipped by Amherst

Amherst Broncos (Amherst, NE) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team nip the visiting Hershey Panthers (Hershey, NE), 25-24 in a league battle.

With the win, Amherst advances its record to 4-2 on the season. The Broncos host Valentine (Valentine, NE) to encounter the in a C2 District 6 battle on Friday, October 11. The go into the battle with a record of 4-2. Valentine won 45-26 in their recent league battle against Mitchell (Mitchell, NE)

The Panthers now own a 1-5 record. They play next when they host Gordon-Rushville for a C2 District 6 battle on Friday, October 11. Hershey will encounter a Mustangs team coming off a 40-16 league loss to Kearney Catholic (Kearney, NE). The Mustangs record now stands at 1-5.
