The Thunderbolts (4-2) will now prepare for their contest against Sandburg (Orland Park, IL). The Eagles enter the Southwest Valley - Red contest with a 5-1 record. In their last contest, Sandburg crushed Lincoln-Way Central (New Lenox, IL), 28-27, in a non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Barbs confront the Waubonsie Valley Warriors (Aurora, IL) in a Southwest Valley - Green contest, on Friday, October 11. DeKalb will attempt to better on its 0-6 season record.
