The Borden County Coyotes (Gail, TX) football trounced the host Anton Bulldogs (Anton, TX), 56-8 in Friday's non-league outing.
The Coyotes now sport a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Wellman-Union for a 1A 6 Man 1 Region I District 3 (6 Man) outing on Thursday, October 10. Borden County will clash with a Wildcats squad coming off a 52-6 non-league loss to Grady (Lenorah, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-4.
With the defeat, Anton drops to 3-3 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Lazbuddie (Lazbuddie, TX) to clash with the Longhorns in a 1A 6 Man 2 Region I District 3 (6 Man) outing on Friday, October 18. The Longhorns come into the outing with a record of 0-5.
