The Ash Grove Pirates football squad scored 34 points and limited the host Skyline Tigers to 14 in the Pirates league triumph on Friday.
The Pirates now hold a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they host Central for a non-league test on Friday, October 11. Ash Grove will meet a Bulldogs squad coming off a 48-0 non-league loss to Parkview (Springfield, MO). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-6.
With the defeat, Skyline drops to 2-4 on the campaign. The Tigers host Miller (Miller, MO) to meet the Cardinals in a Southwest test on Friday, October 11. The Cardinals come into the test with a record of 1-5. Miller lost 28-22 in their recent league test against Sarcoxie (Sarcoxie, MO)
