The Williamsville Bullets walloped the host Athens Warriors football team by a score of 52-6 in Friday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Bullets face the New Berlin/Franklin/Waverly Vipers (New Berlin, IL) in a Sangamo challenge, on Friday, October 11. Williamsville will attempt to improve on its 5-1 season record. The Vipers enter the challenge with a 6-0 record after their 21-14 league win over Olympia (Stanford, IL).
The Warriors (2-4) will now prepare for their challenge against PORTA/Ashland-Chandlerville Central/Greenview (Petersburg, IL). The enter the Sangamo challenge with a 1-5 record. In their last challenge, PORTA/Ashland-Chandlerville Central/Greenview was ripped by Auburn (Auburn, IL), 48-34, in a league challenge.
