Kentucky High School Football - Blazer smashes Rowan County

The Blazer Tomcats (Ashland, KY) football trounced the host Rowan County Vikings (Morehead, KY), 55-7 in Friday's league outing.

The Tomcats now sport a 6-1 record. They take the field next when they host Boyd County for a 4A District 6 outing on Friday, October 11. Blazer will clash with a Lions squad coming off a 42-37 league loss to Greenup County (Greenup, KY). The Lions record now stands at 3-3.

With the defeat, Rowan County drops to 2-4 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Johnson Central (Paintsville, KY) to clash with the Golden Eagles in a 4A District 6 outing on Friday, October 11. The Golden Eagles come into the outing with a record of 5-2. Johnson Central lost 56-51 in their recent non-league outing against Corbin (Corbin, KY)
