In Friday's league match, the host Broad Run Spartans football squad scored a decisive 56-0 triumph over the Park View Patriots.

The Spartans (3-2) will now prepare for their match against Heritage (Leesburg, VA). The Pride come into the non-league match with a 1-4 record. In their last match, Heritage was routed by John Champe (Aldie, VA), 49-21, in a non-league match.

Coming up next, the Patriots confront the Stonewall Jackson Generals (Quicksburg, VA) in a non-league match, on Friday, October 18. Park View will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record.
