Colorado High School Football - Centaurus edged by Cheyenne Mountain

October 4, 2024: Lafayette, CO 80026

The Cheyenne Mountain Red-Tailed Hawks edged the host Centaurus Warriors football team by a score of 26-23 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Red-Tailed Hawks face the Sand Creek Scorpions (Colorado Springs, CO) in a 4A I-25 challenge, on Friday, October 11. Cheyenne Mountain will attempt to improve on its 5-1 season record. The Scorpions enter the challenge with a 4-2 record after their 66-23 league win over Thornton (Thornton, CO).

The Warriors (3-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Gateway (Aurora, CO). The Olympians enter the 4A I-25 challenge with a 1-5 record. In their last challenge, Gateway was edged by Grand Junction (Grand Junction, CO), 48-13, in a league challenge.
