Nebraska High School Football - Centennial overwhelmed by Shelby-Rising City

October 4, 2024: Utica, NE 68456

The Shelby-Rising City Huskies walloped the host Centennial Broncos football team by a score of 76-38 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Huskies face the Mead Raiders (Mead, NE) in a D1 District 6 (8 Man) challenge, on Friday, October 11. Shelby-Rising City will attempt to improve on its 5-1 season record. The Raiders enter the challenge with a 0-6 record after their 52-46 league loss to East Butler (Brainard, NE).

The Broncos (2-4) will now prepare for their challenge against McCool Junction (McCool Junction, NE). The Mustangs enter the D1 District 6 (8 Man) challenge with a 4-2 record. In their last challenge, McCool Junction bounced Heartland (Henderson, NE), 52-6, in a league challenge.
