The Central of Clay County Volunteers were victorious over the host Elmore County Panthers football team by a score of 29-7 in Friday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Volunteers face the Holtville Bulldogs (Deatsville, AL) in a 5A Region 4 challenge, on Friday, October 11. Central of Clay County will attempt to improve on its 7-0 season record. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a 2-4 record after their 21-0 league loss to Beauregard (Opelika, AL).
