Ohio High School Football - Chardon trounces South

In Friday's league match, the host Chardon Hilltoppers football squad scored a decisive 52-0 triumph over the South Rebels.

The Hilltoppers (4-2) will now prepare for their match against Mayfield (Mayfield, OH). The Wildcats come into the Western Reserve match with a 3-5 record. In their last match, Mayfield was routed by Kenston (Chagrin Falls, OH), 21-3, in a league match.

Coming up next, the Rebels confront the North Rangers (Eastlake, OH) in a Western Reserve match, on Friday, October 11. South will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record. The Rangers come into the match with a 3-4 record after their 34-0 league loss to Riverside (Painesville, OH).
