In Friday's non-league test, the Polytech Panthers (Woodside, DE) football squad ran past the visiting Christiana Vikings (Newark, DE), by a count of 34-8.
The Panthers now hold a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. Andrew's for a 1A District 2 test on Friday, October 11. Polytech will meet a Cardinals squad coming off a 20-10 league loss to First State Military Academy (Clayton, DE). The Cardinals record now stands at 1-4.
With the defeat, Christiana drops to 3-2 on the campaign. The Vikings host Glasgow (Newark, DE) to meet the Dragons in a 1A District 1 test on Friday, October 11. The Dragons come into the test with a record of 1-5. Glasgow won 12-7 in their recent league test against Wilmington Charter (Wilmington, DE)
