North Carolina High School Football - Midway defeats Clinton

October 4, 2024: Dunn, NC 28366

The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Midway Raiders (Dunn, NC) and the visiting Clinton Dark Horses (Clinton, NC), witnessed Midway's football squad topple Clinton by a tally of 45-28.

The Raiders (5-1) will now prepare for their contest against Fairmont (Fairmont, NC). The Golden Tornadoes enter the 2A Southeastern contest with a 0-6 record. In their last contest, Fairmont was outscored by Red Springs (Red Springs, NC), 33-20, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Dark Horses confront the West Bladen Knights (Bladenboro, NC) in a 2A Southeastern contest, on Friday, October 11. Clinton will attempt to better on its 0-6 season record. The Knights enter the contest with a 1-4 record after their 41-0 league loss to St. Pauls (St. Pauls, NC).
