South Lewis Falcons (Turin, NY) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Clinton Comets (Clinton, NY), 42-22 in a non-league battle.

With the win, South Lewis improves its record to 2-2 on the season. The Falcons travel to Morrisville-Eaton (Morrisville, NY) to play the Warriors in a Section 3 8-Man - North/West (8 Man) battle on Friday, October 11. The Warriors go into the battle with a record of 3-1. Morrisville-Eaton won 54-24 in their recent league battle against Tupper Lake (Tupper Lake, NY)

The Comets now have a 3-1 record. They play next when they host Frankfort-Schuyler for a Section 3 8-Man - East (8 Man) battle on Saturday, October 12. Clinton will play a Maroon Knights team coming off a 74-19 league win over Waterville (Waterville, NY). The Maroon Knights record now stands at 4-0.
