The Colonel Richardson Colonels football squad scored 56 points and limited the visiting Lancaster Red Devils to 0 in the Colonels non-league triumph on Friday.

The Colonels now sport a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Snow Hill for a Bayside 1A test on Friday, October 11. Colonel Richardson will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 42-6 league win over Washington (Princess Anne, MD). The Eagles record now stands at 4-1.

With the defeat, Lancaster drops to 2-3 on the campaign. The Red devils host Northumberland (Heathsville, VA) to clash with the Indians in a Northern Neck test on Friday, October 11. The Indians come into the test with a record of 3-1. Northumberland lost 42-12 in their recent non-league battle against Bruton (Williamsburg, VA)
