Mississippi High School Football - New Hope nudges Columbus

In Friday's non-league match, the visiting New Hope Trojans football squad scored a close 27-25 victory over the Columbus Falcons.
The Trojans (4-1) will now prepare for their match against Pontotoc (Pontotoc, MS). The Warriors enter the 5A Region 1 match with a 3-1 record. In their last match, Pontotoc was nudged by New Albany (New Albany, MS), 29-26, in a non-league match.
Coming up next, the Falcons confront the Callaway Chargers (Jackson, MS) in a 6A Region 2 match, on Friday, October 11. Columbus will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Chargers enter the match with a 2-4 record after their 36-20 non-league win over Forest Hill (Jackson, MS).
