The Covington Catholic Colonels football squad scored 54 points and limited the visiting Grant County Braves to 0 in the Colonels league triumph on Friday.
The Colonels now hold a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Harrison County for a 4A District 5 test on Friday, October 18.
With the defeat, Grant County drops to 4-2 on the campaign. The Braves host Holmes (Covington, KY) to meet the Bulldogs in a 4A District 5 test on Thursday, October 10. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 0-7. Holmes lost 60-0 in their recent league test against Mason County (Maysville, KY)
