Colorado High School Football - Custer County trounced by Walsenburg

October 4, 2024: Westcliffe, CO 81252

Walsenburg Panthers (Walsenburg, CO) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the host Custer County Bobcats (Westcliffe, CO), 58-6 in a league battle.

With the win, Walsenburg advances its record to 3-2 on the season. The Panthers travel to Crowley County (Ordway, CO) to play the Chargers in a A-8 Six County (8 Man) battle on Saturday, October 12. The Chargers go into the battle with a record of 1-4. Crowley County lost 44-18 in their recent league battle against Hoehne (Hoehne, CO)

The Bobcats now own a 0-5 record. They play next when they travel to Fowler for a non-league battle on Friday, October 11. Custer County will play a Grizzlies team coming off a 54-14 league win over Sangre de Cristo (Mosca, CO). The Grizzlies record now stands at 2-3.
