In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Mohave Accelerated Patriots football squad scored a good 30-8 triumph over the Desert Christian Eagles.

The Patriots (6-1) will now prepare for their match against El Capitan (Colorado City, AZ). The Eagles come into the non-league match with a 5-2 record. In their last match, El Capitan defeated Awaken Christian (Las Vegas, NV), 52-20, in a non-league match.

Coming up next, the Eagles meet the Baboquivari Warriors (Sells, AZ) in a non-league match, on Friday, October 11. Desert Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 4-2 season record. The Warriors come into the match with a 1-6 record after their 44-0 non-league loss to Hayden (Winkelman, AZ).
