Nevada High School Football - Douglas over McQueen

The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Douglas Tigers (Minden, NV) and the host McQueen Lancers (Reno, NV), witnessed Douglas's football squad knock off McQueen by a tally of 49-21.

The Tigers (6-2) will now prepare for their contest against Reed (Sparks, NV). The Raiders enter the 5A Division II Northern contest with a 5-2 record. In their last contest, Reed was toppled by Bishop Manogue (Reno, NV), 42-35, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Lancers battle the Spanish Springs Cougars (Sparks, NV) in a 5A Division II Northern contest, on Friday, October 18. McQueen will attempt to better on its 3-5 season record. The Cougars enter the contest with a 5-3 record after their 34-12 league win over Reno (Reno, NV).
