Ohio High School Football - Waynesfield-Goshen nudges Elgin

The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Waynesfield-Goshen Tigers (Waynesfield, OH) and the host Elgin Comets (Marion, OH), witnessed Waynesfield-Goshen's football squad edge Elgin by a tally of 21-14.

The Tigers (5-2) will now prepare for their contest against Perry (Lima, OH). The Commodores enter the Northwest Central contest with a 4-3 record. In their last contest, Perry got by Cory-Rawson (Rawson, OH), 28-3, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Comets confront the Upper Scioto Valley Rams (McGuffey, OH) in a Northwest Central contest, on Friday, October 11. Elgin will attempt to better on its 3-4 season record. The Rams enter the contest with a 6-1 record after their 30-0 non-league win over Dayton Christian (Miamisburg, OH).
