New York High School Football - Fallsburg can't hold off Rondout Valley

Rondout Valley Ganders (Accord, NY) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team tip the visiting Fallsburg Comets (Fallsburg, NY), 1-0 in a league battle.
With the win, Rondout Valley improves its record to 2-3 on the season. The Ganders travel to Dover (Dover Plains, NY) to play the Dragons in a non-league battle on Thursday, October 10. The Dragons go into the battle with a record of 1-4. Dover lost 14-6 in their recent non-league battle against Spackenkill (Poughkeepsie, NY)
The Comets now have a 0-4 record. They play next when they host Highland for a Section 9 B-2 battle on Thursday, October 10. Fallsburg will play a Huskies team coming off a 51-0 league win over Red Hook (Red Hook, NY). The Huskies record now stands at 4-1.
