The Iredell Dragons walloped the host Gholson football team by a score of 51-6 in Friday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Dragons face the Morgan Eagles (Morgan, TX) in a 1A 6 Man 2 Region III District 11 (6 Man) challenge, on Friday, October 11. Iredell will attempt to improve on its 4-2 season record. The Eagles enter the challenge with a 2-4 record after their 58-0 non-league loss to Gustine (Gustine, TX).
The (3-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Penelope (Penelope, TX). The Wolverines enter the 1A 6 Man 1 Region III District 11 (6 Man) challenge with a 4-2 record. In their last challenge, Penelope was ripped by Covington (Covington, TX), 50-46, in a non-league challenge.
