Oklahoma High School Football - Talihina wallops Gore

The Talihina Golden Tigers football team scored 48 points and held the host Gore Pirates to 6 in the Golden Tigers league victory on Friday.

In their next game, the Golden Tigers face the Central Tigers (Sallisaw, OK) in a A-II District 3 challenge, on Friday, October 11. Talihina will attempt to improve on its 5-0 season record. The Tigers enter the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 55-22 non-league win over Wewoka (Wewoka, OK).

The Pirates (3-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Regent Prep (Tulsa, OK). The enter the A-II District 3 challenge with a 4-0 record. In their last challenge, Regent Prep bounced Liberty (Mounds, OK), 48-37, in a league challenge.
