New Jersey High School Football - Ridgewood defeats Hackensack

The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Ridgewood Maroons (Ridgewood, NJ) and the visiting Hackensack Comets (Hackensack, NJ), witnessed Ridgewood's football squad topple Hackensack by a tally of 18-0.

The Maroons (5-1) will now prepare for their contest against Northern Highlands (Allendale, NJ). The Highlanders enter the Super - Liberty Red contest with a 3-3 record. In their last contest, Northern Highlands was outscored by NV - Old Tappan (Old Tappan, NJ), 27-0, in a non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Comets confront the Ramapo Raiders (Franklin Lakes, NJ) in a Super - Liberty Red contest, on Friday, October 18. Hackensack will attempt to better on its 2-4 season record.
