Florida High School Football - Weeki Wachee triumphant over Hollins

The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Weeki Wachee Hornets (Weeki Wachee, FL) and the visiting Hollins Royals (St. Petersburg, FL), witnessed Weeki Wachee's football squad trounce Hollins by a margin of 48-12.

The Hornets now sport a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they host Citrus for a 3A District 7 outing on Monday, October 7. Weeki Wachee will clash with a Hurricanes squad coming off a 60-0 non-league loss to Lecanto (Lecanto, FL). The Hurricanes record now stands at 0-6.

With the defeat, Hollins drops to 1-5 on the campaign. The Royals host Seminole (Seminole, FL) to clash with the Warhawks in a non-league outing on Friday, October 11. The Warhawks come into the outing with a record of 4-2. Seminole lost 20-12 in their recent non-league outing against Osceola (Seminole, FL)
