Colorado High School Football - Holly holds off Las Animas

October 4, 2024: Holly, CO 81047

The Holly Wildcats (Holly, CO) football tipped the visiting Las Animas Trojans (Las Animas, CO), 24-20 in Friday's league outing.

The Wildcats now sport a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they host Springfield for a A-8 Arkansas Valley (8 Man) outing on Friday, October 11. Holly will clash with a Longhorns squad coming off a 54-32 league win over Rocky Ford (Rocky Ford, CO). The Longhorns record now stands at 4-1.

With the defeat, Las Animas drops to 3-2 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to McClave (McClave, CO) to clash with the Cardinals in a A-8 Arkansas Valley (8 Man) outing on Saturday, October 12. The Cardinals come into the outing with a record of 5-0. McClave won 55-0 in their recent league outing against Swink (Swink, CO)
