The West Shamokin Wolves football team (Rural Valley, PA), dropped 42-21 in Friday's league bout with the host Homer-Center Wildcats (Homer City, PA)

With the win, Homer-Center advances its record to 2-5 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Cambria Heights (Patton, PA) to encounter the Highlanders in a Heritage bout on Friday, October 11. The Highlanders go into the bout with a record of 7-0. Cambria Heights won 43-6 in their recent league bout against Conemaugh Township (Davidsville, PA)

The Wolves now own a 0-7 record. They play next when they host Conemaugh Valley for a Heritage bout on Friday, October 11. West Shamokin will encounter a Blue Jays team coming off a 47-13 league loss to River Valley (Blairsville, PA). The Blue Jays record now stands at 0-7.
