The Wisner-Pilger Gators walloped the visiting Homer Knights football team by a score of 42-0 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Gators face the Guardian Angels Central Catholic Bluejays (West Point, NE) in a D1 District 2 (8 Man) challenge, on Friday, October 11. Wisner-Pilger will attempt to improve on its 4-2 season record. The Bluejays go into the challenge with a 6-0 record after their 34-14 league win over Pender (Pender, NE).

The Knights (1-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Tri County Northeast (Emerson, NE). The Wolfpack go into the D1 District 2 (8 Man) challenge with a 2-4 record. In their last challenge, Tri County Northeast bounced Wakefield (Wakefield, NE), 48-13, in a league challenge.
