The crowd at Friday's league contest between the New Standard Academy Spartans (Flint, MI) and the visiting International Academy Phoenix (Flint, MI), witnessed New Standard Academy's football squad wallop International Academy by a tally of 64-14.

The Spartans (2-4) will now prepare for their contest against Bentley (Burton, MI). The Bulldogs enter the Genesee Area contest with a 3-3 record. In their last contest, Bentley crushed Genesee (Genesee, MI), 26-6, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Phoenix confront the Atherton Wolverines (Burton, MI) in a Genesee Area contest, on Friday, October 11. International Academy will attempt to better on its 0-6 season record. The Wolverines enter the contest with a 5-1 record after their 2-0 league win over Beecher/Johnson (Flint, MI).
