Ithaca Yellowjackets (Ithaca, MI) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the visiting Valley Lutheran Chargers (Saginaw, MI), 48-14 in a league battle.

With the win, Ithaca advances its record to 6-0 on the season. The Yellowjackets host Nouvel Catholic Central (Saginaw, MI) to play the Panthers in a Tri-Valley - White battle on Friday, October 11. The Panthers go into the battle with a record of 6-0. Nouvel Catholic Central won 42-8 in their recent league battle against Hemlock (Hemlock, MI)

The Chargers now own a 3-3 record. They play next when they host Carrollton/Saginaw for a Tri-Valley - White battle on Friday, October 11. Valley Lutheran will play a team coming off a 42-0 league loss to Michigan Lutheran Seminary (Saginaw, MI). The record now stands at 0-6.
