The Johnsburg Skyhawks felled the visiting Marengo Indians football team by a score of 34-7 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Skyhawks face the Plano Reapers (Plano, IL) in a Kishwaukee River challenge, on Friday, October 11. Johnsburg will attempt to improve on its 3-3 season record. The Reapers go into the challenge with a 1-5 record after their 26-10 league loss to Woodstock (Woodstock, IL).

The Indians (3-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Harvard (Harvard, IL). The Hornets go into the Kishwaukee River challenge with a 2-4 record. In their last challenge, Harvard lost by Woodstock North (Woodstock, IL), 42-28, in a league challenge.
