North Carolina High School Football - Kinston prevails Southwest Onslow

October 4, 2024: Kinston, NC 28501

In Friday's league match, the host Kinston Vikings football squad scored a good 26-17 triumph over the Southwest Onslow Stallions.

The Vikings (5-2) will now prepare for their match against James Kenan (Warsaw, NC). The Tigers come into the East Central 2A match with a 6-0 record. In their last match, James Kenan defeated South Lenoir (Deep Run, NC), 42-0, in a league match.

Coming up next, the Stallions confront the South Lenoir Blue Devils (Deep Run, NC) in a East Central 2A match, on Friday, October 11. Southwest Onslow will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record. The Blue Devils come into the match with a 0-6 record after their 42-0 league loss to James Kenan (Warsaw, NC).
