The Mena Bearcats football squad scored 34 points and limited the visiting Lamar Warriors to 21 in the Bearcats league triumph on Friday.

The Bearcats now sport a 5-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ozark for a 4A Region 4 test on Friday, October 11. Mena will meet a Hillbillies squad coming off a 46-21 league win over Dover (Dover, AR). The Hillbillies record now stands at 3-2.

With the defeat, Lamar drops to 2-3 on the campaign. The Warriors host Dover (Dover, AR) to meet the Pirates in a 4A Region 4 test on Friday, October 11. The Pirates come into the test with a record of 1-4. Dover lost 46-21 in their recent league test against Ozark (Ozark, AR)
