Ohio High School Football - Lexington sneaks past West Holmes

October 4, 2024: Lexington, OH 44904

The Lexington Minutemen football squad scored 19 points and limited the visiting West Holmes Knights to 13 in the Minutemen league triumph on Friday.

The Minutemen now sport a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to New Philadelphia for a Ohio Cardinal test on Friday, October 11. Lexington will meet a Quakers squad coming off a 35-21 league win over Madison Comprehensive (Mansfield, OH). The Quakers record now stands at 5-2.

With the defeat, West Holmes drops to 4-3 on the campaign. The Knights host Ashland (Ashland, OH) to meet the Arrows in a Ohio Cardinal test on Friday, October 11. The Arrows come into the test with a record of 7-0. Ashland won 35-3 in their recent league test against Mansfield Senior (Mansfield, OH)
