West Virginia High School Football - Lincoln County knocked off by Wayne

In Friday's non-league game, the Wayne Pioneers (Wayne, WV) football team overcame the visiting Lincoln County Panthers (Hamlin, WV), by a tally of 20-6.

Next, the Pioneers clash with the Hoover Huskies (Clendenin, WV) in a Cardinal test, on Friday, October 11. Wayne will attempt to move on its 4-1 season record. The Huskies come into the test with a 5-0 record after their 41-7 league win over Chapmanville Regional (Chapmanville, WV).

With the defeat, Lincoln County drops to 0-6 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Nitro (Nitro, WV) to clash with the Wildcats in a non-league test on Friday, October 11. The Wildcats come into the test with a record of 5-1. Nitro won 43-6 in their recent non-league test against Ripley (Ripley, WV)
