Suffield Academy Tigers (Suffield, CT) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team tip the host Loomis Chaffee School Pelicans (Windsor, CT), 14-7 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Suffield Academy improves its record to 2-1 on the season. The Tigers host Brunswick School (Greenwich, CT) to play the Bruins in a Northeast Prep battle on Saturday, October 12. The Bruins go into the battle with a record of 4-0. Brunswick School won 35-14 in their recent non-league battle against Avon Old Farms (Avon, CT)

The Pelicans now have a 0-3 record. They play next when they travel to Deerfield Academy for a non-league battle on Friday, October 11. Loomis Chaffee School will play a Big Green team coming off a 31-21 league loss to Cheshire Academy (Cheshire, CT). The Big Green record now stands at 0-4.
