Pennsylvania High School Football - Purchase Line crushed by Marion Center

October 4, 2024: Commodore, PA 15729

The Marion Center Stingers walloped the host Purchase Line Red Dragons football team by a score of 41-0 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Stingers face the River Valley Panthers (Blairsville, PA) in a Heritage challenge, on Friday, October 11. Marion Center will attempt to improve on its 5-2 season record. The Panthers go into the challenge with a 6-1 record after their 47-13 league win over Conemaugh Valley (Johnstown, PA).

The Red Dragons (2-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Portage (Portage, PA). The Mustangs go into the Heritage challenge with a 2-5 record. In their last challenge, Portage was ripped by United Valley co-op [Blacklick Valley/United] (Nanty Glo, PA), 28-0, in a league challenge.
