Maine High School Football - Sanford falls to Marshwood

The Marshwood Hawks felled the visiting Sanford Spartans football team by a score of 40-16 in Friday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Hawks play the Gorham Rams (Gorham, ME) in a B South challenge, on Friday, October 11. Marshwood will attempt to improve on its 2-3 season record. The Rams go into the challenge with a 2-3 record after their 34-27 league win over Cheverus (Portland, ME).
The Spartans (1-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Dover (Dover, NH). The Green Wave go into the non-league challenge with a 2-4 record. In their last challenge, Dover toppled Portsmouth/Oyster River (Portsmouth, NH), 40-27, in a league challenge.
