West Virginia High School Football - Scott winner over Mingo Central

The Scott Skyhawks (Madison, WV) football knocked off the host Mingo Central Miners (Matewan, WV), 20-6 in Friday's non-league outing.

The Skyhawks now sport a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they host Logan for a Cardinal outing on Friday, October 11. Scott will clash with a Wildcats squad coming off a 47-6 league loss to Winfield (Winfield, WV). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-3.

With the defeat, Mingo Central drops to 2-3 on the campaign. The Miners travel to Independence (Coal City, WV) to clash with the Patriots in a Coalfield AA outing on Friday, October 18. The Patriots come into the outing with a record of 3-2.
