The Wyoming East Warriors football squad scored 13 points and limited the visiting Mount View Golden Knights to 12 in the Warriors league triumph on Friday.

The Warriors now hold a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Liberty for a non-league test on Friday, October 11. Wyoming East will meet a Mountaineers squad coming off a 21-6 non-league win over Braxton County (Sutton, WV). The Mountaineers record now stands at 3-3.

With the defeat, Mount View drops to 1-4 on the campaign. The Golden knights host Buffalo (Buffalo, WV) to meet the Bison in a non-league test on Friday, October 11. The Bison come into the test with a record of 3-3. Buffalo won 46-22 in their recent league test against Calhoun (Mt. Zion, WV)
