Washington High School Football - Nooksack Valley tops Mt. Baker

October 4, 2024: Deming, WA 98244

The Nooksack Valley Pioneers football squad scored 34 points and limited the host Mt. Baker Mountaineers to 20 in the Pioneers league triumph on Friday.

The Pioneers now sport a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they host Blaine for a 1A Northwest test on Friday, October 11. Nooksack Valley will meet a Borderites squad coming off a 28-7 league loss to Lynden Christian (Lynden, WA). The Borderites record now stands at 4-1.

With the defeat, Mt. Baker drops to 3-1 on the campaign. The Mountaineers travel to Meridian (Bellingham, WA) to meet the Trojans in a 1A Northwest test on Friday, October 11. The Trojans come into the test with a record of 4-1. Meridian won 56-0 in their recent non-league test against South Whidbey (Langley, WA)
