The Governors (4-2) will now prepare for their contest against Appomattox County (Appomattox, VA). The Raiders enter the Dogwood contest with a 0-6 record. In their last contest, Appomattox County was nudged by Altavista (Altavista, VA), 29-8, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Generals battle the Chatham Cavaliers (Chatham, VA) in a Dogwood contest, on Friday, October 11. William Campbell will attempt to better on its 1-5 season record. The Cavaliers enter the contest with a 2-2 record after their 34-21 non-league loss to Patrick County (Stuart, VA).
