In Friday's league game, the Valley Tigers (West Des Moines, IA) football team overcame the host Northwest Wolves (Waukee, IA), by a tally of 45-21.

In their next game, the Tigers face the Waterloo West Wahawks (Waterloo, IA) in a 5A Group 4 game, on Friday, October 11. Valley will attempt to better on its 5-1 season record. The Wahawks enter the game with a 5-1 record after their 44-17 league win over Marshalltown (Marshalltown, IA).
