Alabama High School Football - Notasulga loses to Verbena

Verbena Red Devils (Verbena, AL) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the visiting Notasulga Blue Devils (Notasulga, AL), 28-12 in a league battle.

With the win, Verbena advances its record to 6-0 on the season. The Red Devils travel to Autauga Academy (Prattville, AL) to play the Generals in a 1A Region 4 battle on Friday, October 11. The Generals go into the battle with a record of 5-1. Autauga Academy won 50-24 in their recent league battle against Keith (Orrville, AL)

The Blue Devils now own a 1-5 record. They play next when they travel to Ellwood Christian for a 1A Region 4 battle on Friday, October 11. Notasulga will play a Eagles team coming off a 50-8 league loss to Billingsley (Billingsley, AL). The Eagles record now stands at 0-7.
