The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Oak Grove Tigers (Bessemer, AL) and the host Tarrant Wildcats (Birmingham, AL), witnessed Oak Grove's football squad wallop Tarrant by a count of 40-0.
The Tigers (5-1) will now prepare for their contest against Bibb County (Centreville, AL). The Choctaws enter the 4A Region 4 contest with a 6-1 record. In their last contest, Bibb County crushed West Blocton (West Blocton, AL), 33-21, in a league contest.
Coming up next, the Wildcats confront the American Christian Academy Patriots (Tuscaloosa, AL) in a 4A Region 4 contest, on Friday, October 11. Tarrant will attempt to upgrade on its 0-6 season record. The Patriots enter the contest with a 1-5 record after their 41-7 league loss to Pleasant Grove (Pleasant Grove, AL).
